CNC Milling machines are machines that use many different tools to machine away material layer by layer from a piece of raw material. In order to produce a final product. Our 3, 4, and 5-Axis Vertical Milling machines have the capabilitiy of holding a multitude of work pieces.  From simple drilling and milling operations to complex profiles, Maitland has a solution for all of our customers.

In Wire Electrical Discharge Machining (WEDMing), or Wire-Cut EDM, a thin-single strand of metal wire is fed through the work piece, typically occurring while in a submerged tank of dielectric fluid or deionized water.  This fluid helps to cool the process and flush away the cut material.  The Wire EDM process uses electric current to cut conductive materials leaving a smooth surface that requires no further finishing or polishing.

CNC Grinders Are machines that use different shaped grinding wheels to sharpen/shape drills, pins, k-wires, and many other medical devices. At Maitland we have 5 CNC Grinders. Two of which have robotic parts loading arms for lights out work. 

Laser Etching is a process we use to engrave or mark part. A high powered laser is used to burn graphics or lettering onto parts.

At Maitland Engineering we have a complete finishing department from anodizing to passivation.

At Maitland we have a complete clean area dedicated to assembling quality products.
